Free-standing inserts

Washington Business Journal accepts preprinted inserts for inclusion in mailed and newsstand copies. There is a maximum of five inserts per issue. FSIs may be used to fulfill display advertising contract obligations.

• Minimum size: 5" x 7" in order to utilitze miss and multiple detection; 3.5" x 5" minimum with no miss or multiple detection capabilities.
• Maximum size: 10" x 13"
• Inserts resembling editorial matter must have "Paid Advertising Supplement to Washington Business Journal" in 14-point type on the front page.
• Inserts are subject to postal and mechancial regulations; you should provide a sample of the insert and obtain approval through your account executive one week prior to inserting the pieces.
• Prices are for inserts weighing 1 ounce or less. Each additional ounce will incur a $300 charge.

Prices are per thousand; 19,000 minimum

Inserts must be received no later than Monday the week of insertion. Inserts may be packed by either pallets or cartons, but must be packed flat to avoid curling or damage. Packaging must be labeled with advertiser name, publication name (Washington Business Journal) and the insertion date. Inserts to run multiple dates must be package and identified separately.
